- assess habits with respect to daytime activities, diet and nutrition, bedroom environment, and bedtime routine
- detect the presence of dyssomnias, parasomnias, narcolepsy, potential medical and psychiatric sleep problems, jet lag, and dreams
- discuss sleep cycles, factors that impact sleep, classical conditioning, worry logs and sleep diaries
- form a Sleep Hygiene action plan that is realistic and achievable
- implement the plan, follow up and fine tune as required to experience better sleep
