Do I need a referral from a doctor to obtain counselling?
No – referrals from a family physician are not required. We accept both direct referrals from clients, as well as third party referrals from employers, insurers, lawyers, and case managers. We offer assessment and treatment services to individuals, couples and families.
Are your services covered by my insurance provider?
Most of the time, third party insurance providers cover the fees under extended benefits for a Registered Psychologist or Counsellor/Therapist/CBT Therapist.
We recommend, prior to your initial consultation, that you call your insurance provider and clarify your benefits coverage. As all clinicians work under Dr. Samra's treatment supervision and oversight, we suggest you ask “Are counselling services provided under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist eligible for coverage?"

What are the costs associated with sessions?
Our counselling session rates are $150 for a 50-minute session and $160 for couples/family sessions. Resilience and leadership coaching services range from $200-$350/hour, depending on the Mental Health or PH&S Specialist, and the type of coaching service being requested.
What are your policies for rebooking appointments & cancellations?
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, you can do through our secure online therapy platform, Jane, or directly through your clinician. We require at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to the appointment to avoid a late cancellation or ‘no-show’ charge (the full session fee).
