About Karen

Karen immigrated to B.C. from Hong Kong when she was a year old and grew up in East Vancouver.

In 2015, she decided to quit her 9 to 5 job as a sales coordinator, to co-found not one, but her first two companies, “The Future Mrs”, a thoughtfully curated paper stationery, wedding planning organizers & bridal gift products company, and  “Luxe Proposals, a premier wedding proposal planning company.

In 2018, Tanya called Karen after feeling inspired by her shameless tendencies to wear Superman PJ’s in public and co-founded LEZÉ The Label, where Karen and Tanya create recycled workleisure that feels like PJ’s. On a mission to motivate women to find freedom wherever they are in their career journey.

In 2019, Tanya and Karen have made it to the BC Business 30 Under 30 list, and in 2021 LEZÉ was included in Oprah’s Favorite Things.
